Looks real nice. I had to align the Eagle Eyes when I first got them. It was real easy once I got a long screwdriver from Home Depot.

I mounted the ballasts on the forward most point of the outside frame rail using the adhesive mounting pad that came with the diode dynamics ballasts. Keep in mind I had to have enough room for the error cancellers to go between the ballast and the headlight. These are big enough I did not feel comfortable letting them dangle so I mounted them with the 3m tape on a flat area beneath the headlights. Since you don't have to worry about this, I would try to mount the ddm ballast on the flat area beneath the headlights or on one of the vertical supports that run from the frame to the radiator support area.

Ok so I just finished the headlights, they work great too no issues. I can recommend the DDM kit all around as far as initial use and setup. I'll update if any issues arise with the bulbs or ballasts, but so far so good :-)

Here is where I mounted the drivers side ballast right under the headlight below the high beam bulb with extreme 3m double sided tape.

And here is where I mounted the passenger side ballast with zip ties using existing holes in the front bumper/radiator support.

I just had 6000K HID installed by tint world, I don't think they used a relay and not sure on warning cancel (they didn't mention)

Lights look great, identical to new Mercedes driving side by side

awesome! glad you finally got them installed. was waiting for you too. lol. I'm going to order the ddm kit to for headlights and fogs. No issues with the auto lights or putting them on manual? Also I saw from your other post. what kind of LEDs do you have for your interior lights

Auto or manual modes both work fine no issues! I usually drive around in auto mode but tried manual mode a few times today because it was daylight and they worked as expected.

I have the premium 8000k cool white kit from precision led. Here's a link to their kits they have a standard kit which also is good depending on your budget (honestly I'm not sure the bulbs are much different but I went premium anyway I wish someone would compare the bulbs they got from the standard and see the difference.)

http://www.precisionled.com/catalogs...r=2011-Present

Make sure to add the vanity bulbs to the kit, the rear plate lights you don't need if you have led's from the factory 2014+. The glove box light is a bitch so I didn't even waste my time even though I got the bulb lol. I never open the glove box anyway so I wouldn't waste my time with that

Oh and PS I was able to use the dust caps with the eagle eyes just drilled the pass through enough with a stepbit from harbor frieght (best price on them by far)

Headlight install is all done under the hood. Remove the air box on the drivers side and the passenger side remove the module with the 2 large plugs in it and move it aside to have room for the install.

Fogs you need to cut the wheels to full lock one direction, remove the center punch rivets from the fender liner on the wheel well and remove the 10mm screw holding the liner in above them to pull it back and you'll have plenty of room to work on them.

See this post for the rivets to replace them with how to remove them

Excellent. Do you just remove the two plugs on the passenger side not the silver unit.? And also I have the OPT 7 fogs that I did not install yet do you think the light output on that would match the DDM HIDs in color?

The silver unit slides up after u remove the plugs. Push the tabs holding it in place and slide it up there are no screws or bolts to remove. I let it rest between the engine cover and fuse box and move the plugs out of the way and don't worry about removing the ground cable you're just putting it aside to make room not totally removing it. First time removing it is tough so be patient it will slide up easy afterwards.

Never seen the opt 7 led's before in person can't say.
