Looks really clean... Do you plan on doing black lug nuts?

Re: 2015 GJC Altitude Blacked out build

Glad I found this forum. Just picked up my 15 JGC Altitude black a few days ago. I just ordered some black door sills and tinted out all windows including sunroof. My next two projects are wrapping the tail lights and the chrome window trim. I thought about plastidip for the window trim but it seems a lot wrapping is involved. I got quotes $250 to vinyl wrap them :-/.

Also I don't think I'd do the LED DRL swap after hearing how complex and expensive it can be. I will likely just swap out the bulbs..has anyone done that and can recommend some decent ones.

Welcome to the Altitude family. I have a 14' and put in SYLVANIA H11 SilverStar zXe for both the headlight low beams and the fogs (both H11). So far they look good, and I have a much greater light throw at night.

Will definitely get a pair of those...it's just a plug-n-play type of swap correct? Also would anyone recommend vinyl wrapping or plasti-dipping the chrome trim around the window?

Correct. It's a swap for low beams and fog lights. I'm getting my chrome vinyl wrapped on the 3rd. Will post images after.

Any problems with the fit of those LaminX sheets? I read some people say that the sheets from Jeep Grand Cherokee (2014, 2015, 2016) Tail Light Tint Smoked Film Covers can be a bit small around the perimeter?

The vinyl around the chrome is being done at my local graphics auto shop. They quoted me $175 (material and labor). Using 3M Premium material and will color match vehicle. 1 year warranty and then It's prorated for months 13-36.

Re: 2015 GJC Altitude Blacked out build

For reference: Got a $275 quote with the same 3M color matched wrap (gloss black) and a 5 year warrenty from my local place. This was for all the chrome trim and the chrome back step pad molding on the top of rear bumper. Weren't many options in my immediate area unless I wanted to drive 40+ miles, so I took that deal. Wrap was ordered and just awaiting delivery. Going to toss them a few extra bucks to throw on the LaminX light tints as well if they get here in time.

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude Edition with black lug nuts, limo tint all the way around, plasti dipped the front grill black, tail lights are "painted" black (not sure what they put on it), black license plate, took off badges.

Future projects: Red calipers, lowered, chrome trim around the windows redone. (my first plasti dip attempt didn't look good), wheels and tires, Renegade body kit. (probably will not be done but hopeful)

Looks good, Franchize. I currently have a '13 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara that I'm selling for a new GC Limited. Can you recommend any good DFW dealers to work with? (sorry to hijack the thread).

Check out Lyon Alizna at Moritz Chysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Ft. Worth. Amazing dude and no bs, I did everything over the phone and email so when I drove there from Dallas all I had to do was review the paperwork, sign, and drive away. His email is lyon.alizna@gs.reyrey.com let him know I sent you so I can get a referral reward. My name is Eric Chavez and email is thafranchize15@gmail.com
