I had the xenondepot h11 leds and I could drive with my headlights off if I wished.

I have recently upgraded to a low mileage 14 limited fully loaded and am again using the Xtreme 5000k HID kit, although the beam pattern is much better because of the projector housing. For the fogs, I am getting the XenonDepot H11 LED because it has no moving fan to keep it cool. To the naked eye, 2500 lumens are bright. Also, I highly doubt the Amazon OPT7 are 3500 lumens. Highly doubt.

Thanks much subbie09 for the info. New at this so all the help is appreciated. Congrats on the new upgrade to the 14 limited. One last thing...on your 12 GC did you install a projector with your Xtreme HIDs or put them into the stock reflector housing? Good output?

Waiting on an email back from Xenondepot. But are these the ones you installed?
H11 LED Headlight Kit | H11 LED Upgrade

The stock fogs and head lights suck on my 15 Altitude and I need to rectify the issue before I hit a deer.

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

All,

I too think I am going to replace the ugly yellow fogs with a nice white LED.

I think am going with the OPT7 kits, My question is did most of you go with the Headlight kit or the fog kit.

Can you tell me what OPT7 light you went with ?

Option 1: (99.99)

Option 2: (32.99)

Option 2 only puts out 700 lumens. I don't imagine it to be much brighter than the factory ones.

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

This is weird ...I installed a set of the opt 7 LEDs into the fog projectors on my jeep and they just worked ..I only had to use the inverter plugs

I just installed a set of opt 7's into the fog projectors on my 2015 Durango and when I powered them on they both worked..as soon as I put the car in gear 1 would go out ..and it wouldn't come back on?

I shut the car off and started it and it did the same thing..so I decided to use the capacitors they provide and that worked when I installed it on the one that was going out

When I installed the capacitor on the other side that light would go out when put in gear?

So I removed the capacitor on that side and now they work perfectly???

So I have a capacitor on the passenger side and no capacitor on the driver side and they work fine?

Anyone have any idea why this might be?

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

I'm just wondering if something is going to eventually crap out with this configuration?

I'm glad it works but something doesn't seem right
