Ok installed them. Excuse the salt.... 21 inches of snow will do that. Looks like they are round the same color as the led halos, the hid bulbs look yellow now compared to the fogs.

No cooling issues? What dark worlds you frequent that you need so much illumination?

Nope they are good to go. Haha I frequent the underworld. Seriously though most towns by me are well to do, no street lights and the deer love playing chicken. I'm currently shopping to upgrade to the osram cbi for the headlights.

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

I upgraded my fogs to the Philips LED 6000k and noticed the same. Love the look and they are much brighter than the stock bulbs but my HID's now look out of place lol. The only time that they are the same color is when the HID's first turn on prior to them heating up.

It was a super simple and quick process to swap out the fogs though, only took me 20 minutes.

How can you tell if you need the flux Cap or the polarity invrter or both on the opt7? One person said they used just the polarity then another says both?

When you install the product you will know if you need one or both pieces. During install you will test if the bulb lights up prior to placing it in the housing. Original install requires only the polarity inverter. If the bulb stays lit with only the polarity inverter then you're golden. If it flickers and shuts off then you need to add teh flux into the mix. Its very simple.
