Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

Anyone running HID lights in their fogs? Or is LED better for fogs? Overkill? Complexity of install? Trying to decide what to get to go with my factory HIDs.

These Philips are plug and play and they put 1250 lumens each. I just removed them for a set of DDM HIDs. Both are good choices, I did it mostly to perfectly match the 5500K lowbeam HIDs. I believe the fog light lense limits the light output so HIDs on the fogs will never be as bright as the headlights.

I listed them for sale on the for sale section: http://www.jeepgarage.org/f12/h11-h8...ml#post1260684

I put the CREE LED with 7000lm in my fog light. It was simple plug and play and it's really bright. The manufacturer says these bulbs are tested in water so it shouldn't be a problem if it gets wet.

Alrighty - just read through the whole thread, didn't see anyone with this issue. I just got the Opt7s (H11 - 6k) and attempted to put them in, they work, but the housing for the LED bulb is a smaller diameter (with the 3 notches) than the stock bulb, so it doesn't lock tight. I've got a 2014 Altitude as well.

Anyone have any fitment issues with these?

I also purchased these (see link below) for the fogs but didn't test fit or try them, they look more like the bulbs that fit into the housing however.

are these the right bulbs for the fogs?

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

Hey guys so been reading this whole thread since I got the Opt7 LED kit. I installed the low beams no problem with the both wires, the fogs I did the same way and nothing. Am I correct to assume remove one set of wires from each ( polarity or inverter)? Thanks in advance
