Those look nice, I am not sure why manufacturers are not just putting in LED's from the start these days. Probably just a cost thing.

Interesting the heat sinks on these also, when I think of LED's I think of efficient cool running lights. Do automotive application LED's get that hot they need such heatsinks?

LED's actually get surprisingly hot. Infact I have LED's throughout my home as well and you almost have to let them cool just like a standard bulb before you can unscrew them.

After seeing this thread and how awesome the LED fogs look along with the stock LED running lights I had to order a pair. I went with the VLED H11 5000k LET kit. They should be here in a couple days im excited :-)

Did you use the same light on both the head light and the fogs. Did they install the fog lights the same way as the head light? Through the wheel well,
Do you have pics of the installation.
I want to just do my fog lights only.

I didn't change the headlights, only the fog lights but I didn't take pictures of the installation process although it was pretty easy, they just took some of the clips off from the wheel well and accessed the fog lights through there.

JeepGCO15,

How have these been performing for you? Just curious if you get anybody high beaming you due to brightness?

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

came across the link for these to amazon on this thread. can anyone confirm that these will fit for low beams on a '15 halogen housing? i know the fog and headlights are both H11 size bulb so i could order two sets of these and call it a day, correct?

These lights are awesome!! And no I dont get anyone high beaming me because they have the same beam pattern as the stock bulb I had which is a pretty straight kinda laser like beam, it doesnt cause glare to oncoming drivers.

If the low beams in the halogen headlights are H11 as well as the fog lights then yes you can order the same kit twice and call it a day, just make sure that is the size the low beams use

Great, placed my order on Amazon. Hopefully the shipping is fast as most of the comments say. I'm also returning the VLED VX3 LED because they wouldn't light up for me.
