Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

Has anybody been able to confirm if these will fit and work properly as headlight replacement bulbs on the non-HID halogen housing? It has a dust cap and am wondering about fitment, heat, etc.

I've got Philips MZ's with fanless LED's (copper heatsink ribbons) right now and fit great but those are only 2500 lumens.

As previously stated, turn the wheels away from the side that you are doing, remove the 1/4 turn plastic clip at the bottom of the felt fender liner, then remove the 10mm bolt on the felt inner liner. Plenty of room to get your hands in with these removed, and the OEM wire and connector are long enough to easily get to.

Also as previously stated, I needed the polarity inverters and the capacitors on mine, for them to function.
When you say to remove the plastic clip on the felt liner, are you talking about the clips on the fender flare trim? And do I only remove the bottom one?

I can't get the clips out for the life of me. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. The clips look like they pop out, not turn.

Look @ wk2jeeps website for directions. The clips need to be cut out and replaced. Some drill them, I just yanked them with side cutters.

Reading the posts above was throwing me off saying to remove the 1/4 turn clips and mine don't turn. Makes sense to cut them or pull them out. Thanks.

I put OPT7 LED headlight bulbs H11 w/Arc-Glass Clear Beam kit I found on amazon. I went with these because they really seemed to be good, had excellent reviews and above all they come with CANBUS integrated chip for error free plug and play installation. Also they have 7000 lumens which is the same as any HID light kit (3500 lumens per bulb). They came with a pair of polarity inverters so that they turn on properly. To sum it up, PERFECT. I got pictures of it for anyone who wants to see how it came up I just don't know how to post them so if anyone could help me figure out that i'd appreciate it so I can share the pics.
Did you cut the clips off, or do they pop out? Trying to install mine but I don't want to break anything in the process unless it's necessary.

Page 1 talks about the 1/4 turn. To access the fogs just 2 pins and a bolt in each wheel well. Shown on page 1 and 2

These things loom awesome at night. They are super bright with a nice clean cutoff. They make the Xenon headlamps look a little yellow...at least to me but I'm colorblind so I could be wrong.

Im not color blind, but its not like they see black and white. just some colors appear the same.. my grandpa was color blind and he tolerated me asking him what color EVERYTHING was... haha. I am going to do this mod very soon with these same lights. I hope they match well with the stock HID's

Just ordered a set for my '15 High Altitude. Should be here Wednesday from Amazon. Can't wait to install them.
