Re: 2015 JGC Xenon Xtreme HID kit install

Definitely don't need to remove the front bumper to do the HID bulb install.
Now that I know what i'm doing I should have the passenger side done in about 20 min.

I used the Diode Dynamics HID kit. One of the bulbs was bad, I should have a replacement by wed.
Premium CAN-BUS HID Conversion Kit (all sizes)

Think i'm going to put some LED fog lights in. I know they won't be as bright as the HID but it should be a simple bulb swap.

Your post was very helpful and saved me a lot of time. I bought the same kit and installed a new honeycomb grill and eagle eye headlights at the sametime.

did you guys use the original gasket with the XD hid bulb. Some of the crappy Kits i had to swap the gasket to get a snug fit.

I used the Same gasket that came with the kit. Did not change out anything.

As long as you drill the right size hole you're going to be good to go.

Mine was on the thicker side. I had to push harder to get it locked in but I knew it was secure.

Re: 2015 JGC Xenon Xtreme HID kit install

Sorry, I misunderstood you. Our grommets are typically on the thicker side to ensure that the bulbs are secure.
