2015 Summit interior console trim color

I don't know that "console" is the right word here...

Basically all the hard materials around the steering wheel gearshift and navigation. In most pictures it looks almost like a copper color with a chrome trim.

However very rarely I will see pics that are silver. But when building online there doesn't seem to be an option.

I would prefer the silver color with black leather. Is this an option or luck of the draw? Or am I seeing pics of non-Summit models?

Upon further review, it appears all the silver ones are 2014. Hopefully I am wrong, I like the silver better

Re: 2015 Summit interior console trim color

The trim with the brown leather is "copper" (exclusive to Summit)...the trim with the black interior (and presumably the Argentina interior) is "sorta-silver", which means it's silver with a slight gold-ish hue, just like most trim levels have been equipped for several years.

Thanks for the clarification. I definitely saw a video review of a black interior Summit with all silver but it was a 2014.

Maybe they will bring it back for 2016.

Or maybe I will save some money and get a 2014

Re: 2015 Summit interior console trim color

My 2014 Summit has brown interior with the bronze color trim. But it seems to me that I have seen black ones with the silver color trim.

To be honest I looked at so many I lost track.

Just went to the dealership, 2015 had the gold look. 2014 SRX definitely had silver

What color was the interior that had the gold/bronze trim?

Not sure what you mean by SRX

Kinda figured but then thought maybe they have a new trim level.

The SRT has a more rugged racing look inside for sure. Seats are more Recaro style and the dash is a little meaner looking.

Re: 2015 Summit interior console trim color

The early 2014 Summits with black interior had silver trim. Mine has the silver trim and is a March 2013 build. Sometime mid 2013 or something like that it changed to whatever that color currently is now.

I would desxcribe it as "Almond". I have the black interior and it is definately not silver, it looks really sharp to me...
