Granite Crystal. Can't decide whether to wrap it black or leave the chrome. I like both for different reasons. Curious as to who likes what.

2016 High Altitude Window trim opinions

I think Granite and Billet look good with chrome window trim.

My vote is to leave it!

You know what the HA needs, matte Chrome. At least here's still a silver accent but not bright one.

I would've liked the window trim done in the trivalent like the other chrome accents on the body.

Granite and gloss black is my vote to match the rest of the window trim.

I wonder what it would cost to by the all black trim that comes on the 75th?

I checked that out, and the problem is that the rear glass is all one piece with the trim. You would have to change the glass and all. Much too costly and not the kind of thing to do to a new vehicle for cosmetic reasons.

There is a guy with an SRT that did the conversion... See prices below:

I was quoted $250 to have my trim wrapped about a year ago. For now I'm going to leave it alone.

Re: 2016 High Altitude Window trim opinions

I personally did not like the bright chrome window trim when all the rest on the car is Black Chrome. I chose Black satin vinyl wrap.Looks great.

That looks great. How has it been holding up? Looks like you're in warm climate. I'm concerned about Northeast winters, snow, scraping ect. What about overall quality of the job?Are there any places where you can tell that it's been wrapped?
Thanks

If you didn't know it was wrapped you would have very difficult time seeing it. It wraps around chrome and I think it would hold up to any weather. As hot as it gets here in Florida no shrinkage or lifting. It will be in Maryland for winter I have no worries. Some members have wrapped in high gloss vinyl, my guy said it would show scratches, so I went with satin.

Re: 2016 High Altitude Window trim opinions

Gloss black window trim 100%!!! I had my trim wrapped gloss black and now when I see an HA with the chrome trim it just looks so weird to me. Do it, you will not regret it...and if you do just peel it off
