Thanks! Factory tips are 3" I think and they are welded so the new tips were installed on the factory ones.

Looks cool Sherif!

Have got a Q about the part number you suggested. I just googled it and it resulted on a few online Mopar parts sites which was great.. so I checked out a couple and I noticed an installation PDF on Mopar International ( http://www.moparinternational.com/accessory-catalog/part/82212693/ ) which you'll see also lists a few other part numbers, and also has pics for two tips and a single tip. I then copied all the part numbers individually into the search and it seems to be the same looking tip but for different engines (two for V8, single for V6) and then also for a Silver Chrome or Black Chrome option. I then noticed your suggested part # was within the single tip diagram area which is listed as being for a V6, but your vehicle has a twin and has a Hemi badge. So my question is, are you sure your part number is correct for your V8?

I was a bit confused for a while there but figured that as I have a twin tip V6 then I simply have to buy two tips as they are listed and priced individually. I'm going for the Black Chrome listed here http://www.moparamerica.com/oe-mopar/82212759

Ok cool, thanks for taking the time to have a look. I think you're right and it doesn't matter whether a 6 or 8. I did just find one site that has a description saying 'fits all models except Summit or SRT'.. So I'm going to just go for the twin item # 82212760 which is the Black Chrome. I'll post a couple pics once they arrive from US to me in Australia. Thanks again

These tips are an export option. I am not sure they can be sourced through a US dealer. You may have better luck trying a australian dealer for a set.

They come in either chrome or black.

You would need some of these if you did the SLimited rear valance.

I think you're right Jeep_addicted, they're an export accessory item and seem to be a bit tricky to locate. They appear online at a couple US vendors but I wasn't sold on them really being available. I was just about to give up.. but then a first attempt search on eBay (which I should of done in the first place) and boom... they not only appeared in the results, but also located in my side of the world. That's two awesomes in one hit!!

That's how much Sherif paid in his part of the world. I know I paid a bit, but I'm still in post car delivery hype mode and keen to mod it out. Tasca Parts online have it advertised for $125 US.. But I didn't bother asking about stock availability as I've found they list everything but when asked they say it's not. But then again maybe the parts I've asked about weren't your standard off the shelf?! Shoot them a message.. you may just be in luck.

Some parts prices here are similar to US prices (after good dealer discount around 30%) but unfortunately the bigger parts are much more expensive and hard to ship internationally due to heavy weight and high shipping fees.

For about 2 weeks I have been working with Pete from JustforJeeps to research where I can buy them. He found them and bought a lot out of a warehouse in Orlando. He called today and let me know they got them stocked. They made a test fit on a 2014 Limited dual exhaust with no issues and he said they look sweet. Ordered right over the phone and free FedEx shipping. Will be here Saturday.

Received in 2 days and installed. They look great against the Altitude package. Super easy installation. Slips right over and lock down 2 nuts. The sleeve is long enough to allow the tips to move flush inside the bumper, just like OEM, or they can stick out a little like I did. Lock them in place and your done.

UNBOXED:
Personal protective equipment Material property Auto part Plastic

BROUGHT THE JEEP UP MORE TO GIVE ME EASIER ACCESS:

ON BOTH THE LEFT/RIGHT SIDE I DIDN'T SEAT THE TIPS FLUSH, LEAVING JUST A LITTLE PROTRUDING FROM THE BUMPER.
