So I looked around the net and couldn't find a thing, most know the 5k fogs look cool for driving around, most also know in fog, yellow gives better visibility.
So, I've seen some LED's have the ability to change colors....
Can this be done for a fog so we can have our cake and eat it too?
LED switchbacks are not made in H11. You'll have to decide between 5k and 3k.
Regardless a standard H11 LED replacement bulb will yield no usable output. They will be strictly for looks. Ive had LED fogs in my WK and my 2014 WK2, both were great matches to my 5k HID's, but that was really the extent of it.
Thanks guys. ..i found out rigid sells one that will go yellow or white....problem is it would be add on vs a direct fit...also it starts around 1200 bucks
That said I might fit some yellows in front where the tow hooks are (ill never use them)
On my WJ, I put yellow film over the fog lenses and my rigid driving lights in the winter time. LaminX worked really well and turned the super bright 6000K LEDs bright yellow.
Say what you want about the yellow tint not helping. I noticed a HUGE difference in the rain and especially. In falling snow, I could see better with just my yellow fog lights (PIAA lp530 LED fogs) than I could with retrofitted HID headlights.
