Question Adding chrome bumper molding to Laredo?

I saw you could buy this from justforjeeps and I'm thinking about getting it, I really like the look it gives the Limiteds and Overlands. Has anyone done this to their Laredo yet, seems like its rarely easy to install but wondering how durable it'd be?

I also have been throwing this around in my head, I hate chrome but this looks like it really finishes the front end.

Re: Adding chrome bumper molding to Laredo?

I have done what you are talking about. Looks great on my Laredo. Just needed a few modifications before installing it. Looks factory. I'll post some pic's in the next couple of days. Any questions, just ask.

Re: Adding chrome bumper molding to Laredo?

I was wondering if it get dings/scratches in it because of its location as well if it seems like it could be easily ripped off while off road or in snow?

Re: Adding chrome bumper molding to Laredo?

You can either use the clips that are on the piece and cut out holes in the lower part of the bumper or file the clips and use rivets or something similar to attach it for a more secure hold.
