Alternative to LED in DRL (2011)

My alternative to LEDs which keep on melting
Bought myself some T20 bulbs extra white, and was amazed at the result.
My aim was to get rid of the "old" glow of the original bulbs and that's exactly what they do.
iPhone pic's don't do them justice, but IMHO they match colourwise better with the Xenon main lights then LED did....

Re: Alternative to LED in DRL (2011)

Nope, these are the original ones, but my car is euro spec...maybe that is the why they are not the same?
The DRL's are on all the time, when the headlights are on (which are standard Xenon in the Netherlands for all WK2 models)they are automaticly dimmed to what they call over here citylightning.
I tried LED's but they keep on melting.....and I really disliked they stock yellow glow....
