Angry Anyone else with a MY2012 a bit dissapointed about the My2014 being available in 8mos

I love my JGC its a 2012 and I leased it in November of 2011. I am a bit bummed to find out that the MY 2014 will be available just a year after I leased the 2012 and will have significant changes. How does a MY 2014 come out the first month of calendar year 2013.

Folding mirrors is the only thing I want. I just bought mine and I knew what was coming in the months ahead. If you want to play now, you gotta pay now.

Cars are like computers. You can never stay ahead in the game. Next years model is always right around the corner.

Re: Anyone else with a MY2012 a bit dissapointed about the My2014 being available in

I have a 2012 Overland that I bought in March. Im not really upset about it, but I guess I will wait till they come out and if the changes are as cool as I think they might be then I would probably considering getting the 2014. Hey if I stick with the same color maybe no one will even know I got a different car already ;-)

For me the ones that im interested in are the big EVIC screen and 8.4" screen in the center stack, rear LED tails, and front LED DRL's, and the 8speed tranny.

Just curious who said anything about folding mirrors? I went through all of Milous' posts and never saw anything about power folding mirrors being an option.

Hi guys

The Aussie Wk2 GC Overland 2012 which I have has folding mirrors but only by press of a button not automatically when locking.
The diesel motor is awesome, power and great fuel economy.

The only way I'll get a 2014 (I have a 2012 now) is if they offer the Overland with Black Leather and Black Wood (or Piano Black painted aluminum) and if all of the lower plastics are painted to match the body color, and if they offer Black Clear Coat exterior paint choice. A de-chrome option would be nice too.

I don't understand why the Aussie fit out is different, we have black with black leather and black wood trim in Overland now, looks great. Pity I bought maximum Steele color, Black would have been better with Black wheels.

Re: Anyone else with a MY2012 a bit dissapointed about the My2014 being available in

Cars are always changing, and what you have is only the latest and greatest for a short time. Its a competitive segment, and I for one am glad to see Jeep improving the vehicle to keep it on top of its class.

Bear in mind that the current vehicle came out in 2010, so January of 2013 (if thats really when it will be out) is 3 years in.

Its very early, and like you mentioned, nearly 8 months different then the previous 3 years. Milous has the info as (est) so it could be change and be moved back further.
