Anyone install Katzkins ?

I am considering seat covers for my Laredo. Anyone have an opinion on Katzkins ? Looks like about $900 for front and rear (two tone/perforated). Color suggestions for a gray interior ?

Re: Anyone install Katzkins ?

Ive installed KATZKINS in my old jeep wrangle.r. 2007, added heated seats.. it was pure 'perfect' ! fit and finish is better than expected.

I got a full set.. from E-bay. for like 75.00 bucks.. took me a few hours to install. hog ties etc. (no special tools) and I sold my jeep cloth skins on forums for 75.00 bucks.. so it was a free upgrade.

Check it out, I think they 'katzkins' has colors, extra etc.. they post on Ebay.

in the end the fit and finish is amazing, and you will have stronger fingers.

**remove each seat, bring inside etc.. you cannot do this inside the jeep** my 4 door wrangler sahara had side airbags in the seats.. make sure you get the right covers for your jeep.. also.. this company makes seat covers for chrysler.. quality product.

Re: Anyone install Katzkins ?

Does anyone know what color the gray console cover lid is in a Geystone 2012 Laredo ? Does it match a standard Katzkin color ?

ps Ones I see on ebay are $750 not $75.

As always, ebay is a cr@pshoot. I bought a set for my previous vehicle for around $300 with shipping. Generally, you will find lower prices when you find sets that were purchased by end-users but never installed, or by installing dealers that bought multiple sets on spec and have left-over inventory for aging models they wish to liquidate.

The Katzkins? They ARE! Wish I had thought about that before I ordered my Overland w/Saddle.

I guess I was just tired of constantly modding my last vehicle (factory power-retracting antenna, upgraded factory sound system, leather, LED rear lights, voice-dialing/bluetooth-streaming via factory sound system, upgraded dual-visors, etc).

Of course, now I have a bag of hog-rings and the pliers left over, with nothing to do....

Re: Anyone install Katzkins ?

If you are not sure what color combo you want go ahead and order the swatch book for $20 you can get them from most vendors that sell Katzkins

this is where I ordered my set from.... www.shopsar.com

Also the covers for the WK2 don't use hog rigs so don't bother buying them.
