Got one & hope to be getting around to installing it in the next few weeks. I will tell you it looks & feels like a very high quality piece. Nice thick, heavy, chrome plated steel mesh. Not like the Summit Grill. Will definitly post pics as soon as it's on.

I fitted one to my Laredo, it is quite a job first time round, you have to remove the front facia (bumper), then you can get at the grill, you will need a hot knife ( thats what I used ) or some sort of saw to cutaway your black insert in the grill, a fair bit of effort but worth the time and looks great, will also be useful stopping debree such as rocks, bugs etc from entering grill, sorry I dont know how to upload pictures on this site, I actuallty wanted to do this a while ago in the community album section but could not work it out.

Would love to see some pics if you can figure it out? I'll be sure to post some as soon as I get mine installed. In the meantime:

So I'm thinking of ordering one of these and getting it powder coated black or possibly a grey to go on a Mineral grey Laredo, any thoughts suggestions?

and wanted a better solution than a Plastice overland grill... not that there's anything wrong with them.

You should wait until you see it. The chrome plating on it is really really nice, and I'm a "biker chrome" guy. And it's not that faux plastic stuff either. Real metal, real chrome!!

I agree with Hollywood. I'm removing the rest of the chrome on the vehicle and painting the grille shell body color (deep cherry red), and painting black the internal parts of the 18" polished wheels. Together I think those bright accents (chrome grille mesh and wheels, along with the window surround) will provide just the right amount of brightwork on the vehicle. I will post pics when it returns from the bodyshop.
