ARIES 3" Nerf Bars

http://www.carid.com/2011-jeep-grand...ps-167534.html

Anyone have these? I just ordered a set of the Polished SS, $248 shipped with a coupon code <FORUMS>. I was set on the MOPAR ones, but these seem a little less obtrusive, and are half the price. Hope they fit well! I'll post pics once they are installed.

Got the side steps installed, pics in the daylight tomorrow. They look nice and don't stick out too far.

OK, OK. Chill out man. This will have to hold you over until tomorrow when I can get the Jeep cleaned up and take some pics in the sun.

Re: ARIES 3" Nerf Bars

The day I purchased my 2011 Overland, the dealer had one in the showroom that had the BMW X5 style step bars and it looked SWEET! These are just as bad as the MOPAR ones. For me it looks to much like some found on pick up trucks, not a luxury SUV. I really wish i took pictures, the dealer had no idea what i was talking about. I know for a fact i wasnt hallucinating on "that day"... hahah

Re: ARIES 3" Nerf Bars

Well until someone makes something different than these and the twice-the-price mopar ones, these will have to do in protecting the leather side bolsters of my luxury SUV from my wife sliding off of them because she can't reach the ground when getting out of the Jeep.

Re: ARIES 3" Nerf Bars

I'm looking to put a set of chrome side step bars on mine too! I'm only 5'1'' and would like a little extra help getting in and out. I'm also noticing my jeans are kind of making marks on the side of the leather seats since i have to kind of slide in and out....LOL! just ordered some armor all leather wipes hopefully they will help get the blueish stain of the leather

Re: ARIES 3" Nerf Bars

I would go with Lexol or Pinnicle leather cleaning rather then Armor All -- that is a personal preference --- no flames needed.

I agree totally. Will do some hunting and see if I can't find the X5 looking ones.

Re: ARIES 3" Nerf Bars
