Aries 3" stainless nerf bars on 2011 GCO

Has anyone put these nerf bars on there GC, there are pretty cheap but I read all good reviews. I hope it will help my little wife to get in & out of my 2011 GC

We are in the market too for step bars or running boards.

I hope someone has some photos because I don't like taking chances. I just wish these companies put actual photos on their websites. It's not like they haven't already mocked up the step bars on these rigs already.

An alternative I was looking at was the running board and step bar looking 5" Gladiator Bar. Looks like it might be more stable for actually stepping on to get in and out. I won't use them, but my wife will need them.

Put mine on today - got the stainless Steel ones for $215 shipped. Easy to install look good, now I will have to see if the 5' wife is happy. You can not install with front mud flaps though as the hit, I had to remove the flaps

Just a word of warning. I purchased these same bars midsummer and after just one Michigan winter I'm seeing signs of rust all over the bars. Not at all happy.

Re: Aries 3" stainless nerf bars on 2011 GCO

Be sure to check out the Romik running boards (at www.Romik-USA.com), which are essentially a combination of nerf bar and running board. And they are made of stainless steel (or black powder coated), so no rust problems and a 10 year warrantee. My wife is also 5' and she is very happy with them. They also don't require removing the front mud flap, so combined with the running board surface, you have some real side protection from winter muck, or mud and gravel.

They have been on my Jeep for two years now, still look good, no rust. I live in the salt belt "Massachusetts"
