I'm currently using this:

CIPA 49404 2"x 2" Corner Wedge Stick-On" : Amazon.com : Automotive
The one's in the link is the styie I have now on both the jeeps in the driveway.

I did modify the ones I have stuck on the passenger side mirrors so that I could see more of the right side of the car.

Apparently the export models do come fitted with them, I guess since they seem to be standard on certain trim levels that the people that have them on their cars take them for granted but they are a huge improvement over the regular mirrors that come installed on the US models in terms of the amount of additional visibility you get from these mirrors.

Those look pretty interesting, Jeep addicted. Let us know if you get a hold of a pair and how they work out.

Re: Aspherical Mirrors?

I was able to get ahold of the mirrors in the picture for someone all the way in Germany.

These are what I was accustomed to from my last vehicle, They really open up your vision to the blind spot on the driver's side.

Now I don't need those little stick on mirrors any more.... YAY!

Re: Aspherical Mirrors?

I don't know what the part number.

I don't think the glass can be bought separate from a dealer.

I can give you then name of the person that sold them to me and their email adress. They told me they have another pair for for when I inquired.

They were a little pricey at $230.00 a pairt but I know any type of Dimming mirror is gonna be expensive. If I wanted the same type of mirror for the touareg I used to own I would be $750 a pair for the dimming version.
