Re: Auto High Beams = AWESOME

Im not, nor have I ever been a fan of high beams. I just never need them, especially with everything nowadays having HIDs. Combine that with fogs and I can see quite well. I disabled that feature after the dealer enabled it right there at the dealership when I picked mine up.

Re: Auto High Beams = AWESOME

If anything I think you need highbeams more with HIDs because of the sharp beam cutoff...

Re: Auto High Beams = AWESOME

When I was back in Florida, I never needed highbeams except for rare trips across Alligator Alley at night, and even then they weren't typically necessary, just nice to have.

Up here in NC, everything is so remote and dark that you really do need them. The interstates here will literally cut through 100 miles of nothingness.

I can't think of too many times when I "needed" them, but it sure is nice to have them (just like HIDs).

Wow, really? I use them whenever I can, and on a dark road constantly scan the sides for reflective eyes, a tell-tale sign of a deer looking at you contemplating crossing the road.
