Autodip sprayable vinyl coating

Has anyone tried this product before? It appears to be of better quality then plasti-dip which leaves a rough matte finish. in the videos I've seen, Autodip looks to provide a glossy smooth finish that would be great to cover the chrome plastic vs buying and replacing it. Thanks!

expensive as hell though. apparently fonzie did a review on facebook of it but I'm having trouble finding it.

properly applied plastidip can be just as glossy, and that seems to be their only selling point. I was going for the matte look anyway when I did mine.

Scottina, how many cans did you use for all 4 wheels? Did you also do inside the wheels?

Have you done any other plastic pieces on exterior? Does it peel like plastidip so you wouldn't have to tape off a lot of the area you spray?

Re: Autodip sprayable vinyl coating

What size wheels? 20-22" requires 3 cans of base and 3 cans of metallic, color whatever. If you do inside of wheels....tape of outside and do inside first. Then tape of inside and do outside. It's up to u.

Re: Autodip sprayable vinyl coating

You can do anything....but tape it off and peel the tape while it's still wet. And yes it peels right off. I did mirror caps....but
VERY easy
