B Pillar Trim Replacement

My 2015 Altitude has a dent in the drivers side rear B pillar trim. It either came that way and I didn't notice or something else happened. Has anyone replaced this or have instructions on how to do so?

I had my B pillars replaced replaced on my 2014 under warranty because the finish began chipping/flaking off. It took quite some time for my dealership to not only verify with Chrysler that this was defect and should be replaced under warranty, but also to get the parts in.

It was on both sides for me. I just had the dealer/body shop replace them, so I can't speak to how easy or difficult the process may be. I'd take it in and see if they can help you out under warranty.

Re: B Pillar Trim Replacement

I believe it is stuck on with body tape like an emblem.. can anyone confirm this cause mine has a small scratch on one of them and would like to replace later down the road if it gets any worse

I'll probably order the part and figure it out. If it's tape or has screws, the new part will have what's necessary for the install.

Here is the part I need. Not sure why the left side is less expensive than the right though.

Re: B Pillar Trim Replacement

I just noticed today on the driver's side passenger door that my plastic B pillar starts to come off.

I had a look inside, and looks like the double side tape is missing. So I'm gonna put some double side tape myself. Hope this will fix this for now ... otherwise another trip to the dealer.

From your photo, your B pillar edges are starting to look like mine, where the edges are starting to peel or chip off. Might be worth a trip to the dealer/dealer's body shop anyways to inquire about getting them replaced all together. That's what I ended up doing.

I know it doesn't look like much, but it really bothered me how the finish was wearing off on them.

You are right. I will actually email the dealer and attach pictures. Will see what they say.
