Battery Location???

Is the battery in the plastic panel underneath the jumper lead connection points??

Or do you access it through the drivers side inner guard. The owners manual was no help except to say it was a maintenance free........

Re: Battery Location???

Thanks for that.

It does not look that easy to get at under the seat.

Do you have to remove the seat to remove battery????

This - slide the seat forward and you can remove the cover that is over the battery compartment - just pull up from the back part of the cover and it will disengage.

Ok I have a stupid question, lol. I tried to get the batt. cover off, I was able to pop out the back half of the cover off, but how does the front end fasten in? Is it similar to the back? I did not want to force it and break any tabs. And does anyone know if the batt. type is AGM for the HEMI's? Thanks!

Just give it a good pull - you won't break anything. And yes, its an AGM battery.

Thanks! I'll give it an easy try! lol!

EDIT: When you say pull, do you mean to lift straight up the back end, then pull the cover towards the back of the car?
