I've considered going that route but would like to fully convert to true HIDS and keep the blacked out housing from the srt headlamps.
From reading through the forums I've gathered this will work as long as I purchase the correct harness through Jeep_Addicted a long time member here.

And export version for the non orange reflectors.

But now I just came across this thread 2014 GC lights in 2011?
and im beginning to wonder if I should hold out to see how this develops... lol

If you can come up with a filler panel then you can make it happen.

Re: Black HID Headlights for Overland summit

so if Jeep_Addicted makes a harness and Murderedsrt can come up w a filler piece we can make the 2014 bixenon hid headlights work on a 2011-13 wk2? that would be awesome lets make it happen lol

otherwise im still trying to find some 11-13 export srt8 headlights to replace my halogen altitude headlights.

justforjeeps responded saying that they COULD NOT get the export versions for me.
-_- maybe a phone call might produce different results opposed to an online inquiry??cause I know ppl here have said they could get them..

decisions.. decisions..

You're most likely gonna need the whole facial and grill to make them work. If you really look the whole are around the light is different. The depth of the hole for the light and stuff. Really this is no different than is WK1 guys going from 06-07 to 08-10. We need the facial and grill. My advice is go rear end someone and take the money to fix it yourself. Or find someone really good at fiberglass. You'll need to fab the filler and figure out how to mount it. Not to mention you're gonna need the jeep on side to fab. Why not just add a xenon driving strip? Figuring out how to mount and where to route it will be the hardest and even then it's way easier than the swap.

Ok fellow forum members. If you have been interested in switching to the new 14 led head lights PM me as I have something you must see! Not a hoax and I'm not trying to sell anything. Just don't know how things are with posting things on other forums.
