Black is out, Chrome is in?

Hey all, I just got a 2014 GC Overland and I really like the chrome and satin accents on it. I was thinking about blacking it all out, but I think that's kind of being overdone right now... So I am going to stick with what I have for now.

Anyone else think the black treatment trend is done?

Gregg

Why don't you do a mixture? I think too much chrome is tacky and am currently taking some off or blacking it out. If done right it looks meaner. I'm getting same color mirrors soon and a sarona hood or the srt8 tyrannos hood once they come in! I got same color on srt8 rims on my '14 summit as he body. I'm leaving bottom chrome trim, trim around Windows, trim around grill slits, lugs/cap, and lettering. Too much of either I think looks bad.ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1462823393.234462.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1462823410.671506.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1462823470.028394.jpg

Black is out, Chrome is in?

Instead of black you could the trim in a graphite grey.

Rustoleum makes a plastidip competitor that has sparkles embedded: http://www.rustoleum.com/product-cat...coat/peel-coat

And it matches up nicely with the matte dark grey 3m vinyl, if you want to mix mediums.

I just think silver trim looks tacky, so any alternate is preferable for me. I wonder how white plastidip would look...
