I got to thinking about this and what I was able to do with my Altitude grille when I received it. You can unhook the top 4 clips from your grill, and then pop the platinum-chrome pieces out. There are 3 of them I think. Then you can get them painted and clear coated, and then pop them back in.
Note: the Overland grille with the black inner mesh does not have separate pieces so those black plastic ones don't pop out like the platinum-chrome ones do, so the only option is to pop out the platinum-chrome pieces and have them painted. Or get the entire Overland grille and drop the bumper of course, but not a good option.
