Re: Black painting interior headlight 2015 WK2

Not that I have seen. From what I have read the '14+ headlights use the same lens adhesive as earlier models which means you cannot heat the glue and separate the lens. The only way to open the headlights would be to cut and that's not really something people want to do on a $40,000+ newer vehicle.
Best way to get the black housing lights would be to drop some serious cash and get used or new SRT lights, or maybe the new High Altitude lights would be a little cheaper since they aren't AFS.

Just for Jeeps has the Altitude style/edition ones for not too much. Think the trim around those is black, compared to the chrome on the Limited/Overlands. As for the full inside being black? Eh not so sure about that.

Don't quote me on that though - Just saw those a few minutes ago actually when browsing for some part #'s for something else.

Ask the dude that built the Army green jeep in another thread. He has a company that specializes in painting headlights. I think he modded his LED/HID lights.

I'd just buy a set of the SRT8 healights, that way you won't have to worry about getting everything perfectly sealed up after cutting them open. I did the SRT8 swap on mine, see below. Should be plug and play for you.
