Black Tail liight bezels on altitude

Hey guys, while reading through the forum I know most peoples Altitude mods of choice involve getting the black tail light bezels. I just picked up mine the other day in Black and I believe mine came with them. Doing a forum search, it looks like some other 2015s come with gray bezels. Those Altitudes weren't black though. Is this normal? I was on Just For Jeeps looking at bezels and then when I checked the pics in my phone from the dealer I saw that mine already had the black bezels on it.

Re: Black Tail liight bezels on altitude

Im not sure why some '15 Altitudes don't have them (maybe early builds I dont know), but for the latest Altitude they now have the complete SRT tail lights. Which means gloss black bezels and the black framed SRT lights. Not everyone realizes this but the entire housing is different between the SRT lights and non-SRT lights. The inner frame behind the red lens is black compared to the standard ones. It almost gives the SRT lights a smoked looked from the factory. They look awesome!!!

The Altitude III has the black bezels. The previous Altitude has gray.

Yup, and as minor as it is, I feel the SRT lights almost change the look of the back of the car. Something about the darker lenses just looks so good...especially on the Altitude. I almost want to buy the SRT lights for my Summit, but couldn't justify the cost. I had just the black bezels on and it just didnt look right with the brigher red lenses.
I would imagine the new High Altitude edition thats coming out will have the SRT lights as well....just another reason I will be really considering getting that if it looks as good as I think it will.

spot on.

I think in April the the Altitudes went to Altitude II to Altitude III which changed the taillight bezels and the dash/air vent trims to silver rather than light gold like all the other models.

Yes, Chrysler was reading this forum and those of us critiquing the Altitude II and saying how the tail light bezels should be black (not gray) and the interior trim should be silver (not gold) and they finally realized their error on those two items and fixed them.

Sliight correction.... They changed them to SRT tail lights which have the gloss black bezels. Again, the entire housing is different between SRT and non-SRT models, not just the bezels.

Says who? Where are you getting your information?
IF that were true the window trim would also be black since that's the number 1 complaint.

I dislike my window trim more than my gray tail light bezels.........although both annoy me.

I'm so tired with that interior trim with gold/champagne color!!both on my grand cherokee and cherokee!it doesn't match any interior theme.maybe thay can design a limited dragon collection to match that gold just like wrangler!
