Hey sorry for the crappy cell phone pics but I plastidipped my window trim, just gotta do the grille and the roof rack system and it'll look good. Also added some turn signal tints, let me know what you think! Thanks

Re: Blacked out Trim and Turn Signal Tints

I'm only seeing tint on your reverse lights...am I missing something? And why not do the entire lens assembly if you are going to just do the reverse lights?

Those wheels also need to be hit with some dip, badly. Serious offenders to the True Blue, but that's just my opinion. Otherwise I'd say, keep up with the good work and tint all your rear lights if you are going to do them at all.

Re: Blacked out Trim and Turn Signal Tints

yeah my bad, I meant to say the reverse lights. And with the true blue I looked at other WK2's with the whole tail lights blacked out and it just didn't look right. And Im waiting to throw on a little bigger, mud tires before I plastidip the wheels. With stock tires I'm worried it will just look stupid.

Looks good man. I am blacking all my chrome out as well. Did you take off the chrome door trim? How did you go about doing that- I'd like to do that as well.

Re: Blacked out Trim and Turn Signal Tints

no i just taped around the trim and used cut trash bags to tape off most of the side and then just followed the steps to plasti-dip. Theres plenty of forums about plasti-dipping if you're not familiar with that process…and thanks for the complement
