Did the mrirrors and roof myself, paid 250 for the window trim - that's too hard for a DIY, especially if you have OCD with that kind of stuff like me

Yeh, but 20% looks awesome, along with vinyl work...price you have to pay for an awesome ride.

Re: Blacking out Window Trim

Thanks for all the replies. I wanted to update what I did. I found a friend of a friend that does wrapping and he did the window trim for $120 cash on his own time. It came out perfectly and I'm very happy with the results. I was very surprised to find that the gloss black vinyl has a tendency to surface scratch pretty easily. Not deep, just a little change in color. I did a little research on the subject and it seems to be a common occurrence. Recommendations have been applying heat or just leaving it in the sun. The latter has actually been pretty effective. It's really not a very noticeable problem I just thought that that material was tougher than that.I had asked whether the installer recommended a gloss or matte vinyl and he said that the gloss was best and that he used the best 3M material.I'm wondering if the matte would have been a better choice. Any experience out there?
Thanks
