Your mirrors have the auto-dimming coating, so finding something like this would likely be much more difficult. I hear a lot of mirrors in Europe come like this stock.

I test drove a 2011 ford explorer with those integrated blind spot mirrors.
I hated it, they freaked me out! I found them to be more distracting while i was trying to change lanes. I didn't know what the hell i was looking at!......LOL maybe because they seem to be a little bigger than those round stick on ones? Also could be since it was the first time i was in a car with them.
I'm sure it's just one of those things you get used to

Thanks for the feedback. I've never used these before but I can see why they might be distracting.
I'm not convinced about them anyway and if I did find them I would attach them temporarily just for a try.
You're right, I do see them on many Ford trucks/SUVs. But I have seen a Ram with it so that's why I thought they might be available for the Jeep, but I just can't find any.
I'm not sure if it's an add-on or the mirror is manufactured that way.
The European spec Asphrerical mirrors are what you are looking for.
I managed to find a pair on ebay by accident, They ended up shipping from Germany. I bought a pair and another member on here had bought the other pair from the seller, since then they have never got their hands on any more,
What we need to do is get a member with an export model VIN so that we can get the part #'s and see if we can get our hand some so more of these.
I swear by these.
I posted a pic in a thread. titled Aspherical Mirrors?
Here is a photo of the OEM aspherical mirror that are standard on some of trim level of export models.
Take note of the dotted line that shows where the mirror curves to increase visibility in the blind spot.
Since I have added these mirrors I have no issues with making lane changes or merging into oncoming traffic.
The biggest pay off of adding these mirrors has been with parking and close quarter manuevering they open up your field of view let you know how close you are to another vehicle and generally make the vehicle feel smaller since you now have feedback as to where the rear of the vehicle is in relation to the other vehicle and obstacles.
There is one price to pay for the added visibility though. Object are a little less defined.
For example I used to be able to drive by someone and look at there face in great detail now the persons features are now washed out.
Wanted to say that i finally got myself a set
auto dimming, blind spot assist, and aspherical. 200 bucks for the pair shipped from lithuania.
just sucks that on my durango, only the driver side has auto dimming.
I really like them and the OEM factor, not in love but they are nice......just not $200 nice to me, my mirrors are pretty good to begin with, this would've been a nicety. I'd rather think where $200 in gas gets me or $200 in cleaning products, a new Loomis fishing pole, some chrome truck nutz for my tow hitch, but I see the benefit and cool factor. I just see it more in a great meal, and then running over the valets foot in reverse cause I couldn't see him with my regular non wide angle mirrors. I'm just jealous, enjoy!
I'm interested in a set of these but unsure if my GC can use the auto dimming mirrors. Does the 14 Limited come equipped or have the ability to use these?
The seller seems to have a good amount of these available.
Using these for a couple of days, and i can definitely drive better due to not having to move my neck as much to see cars coming. These mirrors, or atleast the drivers side is worth the money.
You do realize that if you just lean forward a little bit and then look out the mirror you can now see your blind spot. Try it out sitting in your driveway/parking spot to test so you now how far to lean.
You may not agree with the price of the mirrors, but until you actually use them you will realize how much better they are.
I back into every parking space and I don't think you have ever noticed that with the ordinary mirror you wouldn't know if there is a car next to you or not because the ordinary mirror does register that field of vision.
With the Aspherical mirrors they are safer (to me) overall because not only can you see the car parked in the space next to you but you can see a person waking by or if the occupant of the parked car decided to open the door.
If they installed these on US spec vehicles you would not need any blind spot warning system unless your eyesight is compromised.
It is funny how so many Euro spec vehicles they are available on and we don't get them here in the US.
Edit:
Look at the two attached pics. (images taken with Galaxy S3 same height as my head while seated in my normal driving position. with zoom adjusted to show detail in the mirror image)
As you can see I have my mirrors adjusted so I can barely see my rear door handles in the frame. (my normal position)
The white truck is parked in the row behind me and one row over, This area could be considered the blind spot for most folks and you can see the area well.
On the right side that black SUV is parked one row directly behind me but off center and you can see the image in the mirror this also is what would be considered the blind spot area. You can also take notice of all the other open portion of the mirror.
The sweep is great for reversing along walls or in alleys because you don't only see what is directly behind the vehicle you also see the walls or sides as well giving you a better impression of where the vehicle is in relation to it surroundings.
I have a long driveway with retaining wall on one side and prior to installing the mirrors sometime you would find yourself having to stop to adjust your course because the wall would just appear. But now I can see the wall from the start so I can make the corrections while moving.
OR you could just adjust your mirrors properly. I've been using this method for YEARS, my wife too. It took a week or two to get used to it, now I can't drive a car without adjusting them properly.
Then you can avoid the one Con KJPECHO missed: Cost. My "fix" is free!
Even properly adjusted, if you compared the mirrors side by side, whether you move your head etc or not. These mirrors provide a wider view and have a built in aspherical part towards the outside of the mirror that works very well at blindspots. Yes 200 bucks is not cheap, but these are oem with all the functions the WK2/WDS would have. 200 bucks is cheap insurance.
With these mirrors, you see everything, and not just part of the blind spot, or what is behind you.
Or if you have the 2 position seat memory, set 1 for one mirror setting and 2 for a wider view. Works fine for me. If you have another driver, they may not appreciate it
Can you explain? I had great experience with the EBay seller. My order came in in less than 1 week....Faster shipping than I receive from things ive ordered in the states. Mirrors were advertised as used....they look brand spankin' new!
A statement like that while warranting some concern isn't valid without at least some explanation. What's a major thing to some might be acceptable to others. Or more importantly some might not heed your warning beause its vague and go at it anyway only to get shafted for a couple hundred bucks. You can say I told you so then or..
Sorry but more clarification will save others. Maybe just a highlight real.
I'm on the fence since I have seen the benefits of these but since I have mirrors and a better use for $200 the sellers integrity makes a big difference. Am i missing it or did anyone find out what the dealer would charge for the glass.

Most people recognize that most vehicles have blind spots. I won't argue with you, you can keep you beliefs.
Just don't tell the engineers who designed this system. You might depress them.

I would argue that BSM systems (which I have in my Overland, by the way) are primarily to cover for people who don't know how to adjust their mirrors or are simply not paying attention, we all know there are plenty of both kinds of drivers out there. If I had to guess (and yes, 90% of statistics are made up on the spot, including this one) 90% of drivers have no clue how to adjust their side mirrors properly. I know I didn't until I had been driving for several years. My parents certainly didn't know!
But I'd be careful about using a feature to argue anything, features are often more about marketing than need.
Maybe I'm oversimplifying or just plain wrong but.
With stock mirrors you can see this much. (----)
And with the euro mirrors you can see this much. (-------)
How does that not equate to better or safer?
In the time it takes you lean your head to gain the added visibility, screech there's the bumper meets wall moment or oops, there's someone that just entered the lane next to you..or since you're looking away longer, some douche just slammed on their brakes in front of you.. That takes 1/100 second, far less than the extended length of time you're looking in your side mirror. I'm cool with $200
This is not a discussion based on opinion when it's measurably more you get in your field of vision. If you want to pay for more, good, if not you get less.
I know it's skill we lack otherwise we wouldn't need bigger mirrors.. I'm cool with that too, been doing this a while.
Again, missing the point. This post was about the supposed "need" for these mirrors to eliminate the blind spot. My point was and is that you can accomplish the same blind spot elimination by adjusting your stock mirrors correctly. WHICH, by the way, is something you should do no matter which mirrors you have.
IF you want "better" mirrors for some other reason, so be it, but they are not necessary to eliminate the blind spot.
I'm gonna make a guess that there might be a particular seat position, that if you are a particular height, you might be able to adjust the mirror to tune out the blind spot.
If it could be done universally, more than a few people would know about it. Further, the federal and state sponsored defensive driving classes would stress this. Instead they spend a lot of time talking about blind spots.
Repeating it over and over again on the internet, telling everyone who disagrees with you that they just don't understand won't change many opinions.

After driving with these for a few days, the best thing about these mirrors is that when driving on the highway and switching lanes. You not only see the lane next to you....but you also see the lane next to that. So you can see 2 lanes over....why is this important?
How many times have you gone to switch lanes on the highway and someone two lanes over from you, which is going slightly faster than you, switches into the same lane as you at the same time?
I drive non-stop in Chicago and the traffic is pretty terrible at all times. People switch lanes like its going out of style to try and get around traffic. And being able to see 2 lanes over is HUGE!
Anyone else find that the driver's side mirror doesn't have enough range of motion. I like to point mine out so I can't see any of my car, but I can't get mine to go far enough.
I can push it out a little more, but if I then set memory, it won't go back to that position via the motors.
I have this problem. In previous cars I could adjust the mirror to eliminate the blind spot and now that I have a blind spot again I must remember to check it. Only an issue on the driver's side. I'm trying to decide between stick-ons and the euro-mirrors discussed before.
I ordered the "Euro Style" mirrors for my GC under part number :68082639AA or AB. That mirror is heated and blind spot. I have used the same part for 2012, 2014 and 2015.
If you know the Chrysler sales codes you should be able to find the part numbers for cars with other options also.
