Call the parts department and say you have a durango and need replacement bulbs for the cup holder, door pockets, etc... See what they say.

Re: Blue dashboard lights?

So.....every Dodge dealer I called said the bulb is a PC74 MINIATURE BULB and the bulb is clear. Basically the cup holder and shifter color is already blue and the bulb just lights it up. So I guess we're stuck with the green color.

Its an option. Its called ambient lighting kit. Couple hundred bucks.

Re: Blue dashboard lights?

It is an option but it doesn't do the AC controls or the steering wheel. I just talked to the parts an service. It does the cup holder and wells but not the buttons. Lame.

So I assume that means that there is some colored piece of plastic that the clear bulb sits behind. What about removing the trim panel, cutting out that piece of plastic, and installing any different color film?

Re: Blue dashboard lights?

There are filters/covers for these small PC style bulbs. I can't recall the last place I saw them for small bulbs though.

Changing the color of the door panel led and the shifter console shouldn't be hard. IP, HVAC, and radio would probably be better left alone though. I've had the shifter panel out several times, but never really payed any attention to the lighting. Probably won't be this week, but maybe next week, I'll tear into it and see what I can come up with.

I guess so....I still think it's clear and the dealer is wrong. The bulbs are clear and no colored condoms on them. I'm just going to take everything apart soon and see what's up. Maybe the shifter and a/c panels from the durango will fit the Jeep? I know this is the lamest mod, but I'd love to have the durango look.
