Re: Blue LED in my 2014

Thanks for posting your LED interior lights. I was going to order from Precision.....they have two kinds of pricing....40.00 regular or the 80.00 premium...what is the difference? I was going to go with the soft white lights because I thought the regular white would be too bright. My JGC is red, but I do not know if I could get use to the dark red all the time. I watched the video and it shows two lights in the dome....do they only send one set of replacements for them? I was also a little nervous taking off my back lift gate panel to put those in...hopefully everything will fit back to stock fittings and no rattles.

How's the interior visibility with the dark blue? They look sweet but want to make sure if I actually need to use the light to see/read something the blue lights don't make it really difficult.

At least you wouldn't have a problem with drug users!

I just installed these in 8000k. Damn these things are bright!!! Has to be 2 or 3 times brighter than stock. By the way, don't fool yourself, they are all the same 194 type bulb.

I ended up getting the 6000k kit. Should arrive in the next week or so. Didn't need to be lit up like an operating theatre.

Re: Blue LED in my 2014

Installed my precisionled kit yesterday. Couldn't be much easier, especially with the video tutorial. The only annoyance is that the 6000k LED's don't even come close to the color of the stock LED map lights.

How do you find the brightness compared to your previous stock globes? I have the 6000k's coming as well. Is there a significant improvement??

They are certainly brighter than stock. I went with the non premium package, so if you went with the premium it would likely be even more of a difference. The standard package is plenty bright, but it would be nice to have the premiums to spice up the liftgate/cargo lamps.
