Bought my 2013

JGC a few months ago. It's had water spots on the side chrome trim. I I've tried Windex with vinegar and a couple of other liquids and nothing has worked.

Any ideas?

Dan

Re: Bought my 2013

Windex is ammonia and vinegar is acetic acid, both corrosive, neither are good for anything but windows on a car. Even there I would defer to a safer product unless needed, and never let them touch tint. I would wash the chrome in a light dish soap, rinse thorough and don't leave on paint. A light solution then use a good polish and follow with a sealer of sorts if you like. Most polishes are pretty harsh chemicals and a fine grit in suspensions but are easier and far more effective than non dedicated products. I'm not touching which polish Because I am peticular and enjoy the process, but any will work better than windex so you'll be happy...
