Had a minor fender bender in a parking lot with my 2015 Bright white altitude. There are 2-3 minor paint chips on my rear bumper. Before I buy some touch up paint online, I want to make sure I get the correct color and good stuff. Anyone know where I can find some simple to use touch-up paint?
Is that bumper anything special or does it use regular paint?
Your dealer would be one choice, but if the bumper is regular old paint, look on
your door for the paint code and any auto parts store would have touch up for it.
If the chips are small and reasonably regular shaped, use your paint code to pick up
Dr Colorchip. Pricey but very effective. Not so good for long scratches and their
web site indicates this.
Another option would be to ask your dealer for a good detailer in your area. Priciest but usually best option.
Agree. I went to my dealership's body shop and asked if I could buy through them to make sure I would receive the right color. They ended up just giving me a tube they had on hand. Pretty happy with how well it works. Of course, always hope you don't have to use it!
