Re: Bumper Puncture: Suggestions?

That piece can be seperated from the main bumper. Buy a replacement, have it painted and reinstall. I think the part is refered to as a rear lower bumper valance. I just bought a new black textured one on line for about 125.00. I am not sure about the smooth paintable ones though. Al

Re: Bumper Puncture: Suggestions?

Is someone able to save me the time in searching out the part number of the hitch bezel in the lower right of the OP's photo? It's not a part available in Australia, so asking a dealer isn't going to cut it, and all I seem to find searching is the -2010 part.

Cheers,
Steve

Re: Bumper Puncture: Suggestions?

Thanks Doctor Bones. I'll have a look and see if I can't confuse myself with the choices

Cheers,
Steve

Sorry... took that post down. They show the part but the exploded view item numbers are hard to read. And I believe the part numbers I listed were for the 2015 and for solid (hitchless) covers.

Here's the link again, see if you can make sense of it...

Re: Bumper Puncture: Suggestions?

I don't know what good exploded views are at that size and resolution. You should be able to click on one and open a larger image, but no. And if you can find (read) a balloon item number of a part you should be able to go to it somehow. The whole structure of that site is hard to drill down through and could use a major revamping.

Re: Bumper Puncture: Suggestions?

Better than any Aussie car manufacturer ever managed though!

I think the AU valance is different. We have no "knock out" section. I wonder if I could still use the bezel if I cut the valance right?

Cheers,
Steve

Re: Bumper Puncture: Suggestions?

Okay, found a site that has clearer exploded views.

The hitch receiver bezel for a 2014 Overland looks like item 15, Part #68111636AA

Genuine Parts for 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee|Overland 3.0L V6 - Diesel

Unfortunately, it looks like they don't have parts lists for the 2015 MY yet.

Google image search for the above part number...

Can you tell me where you sourced the part from? Hey maybe textured black would go with the black accents of the altitude. :-)

Re: Bumper Puncture: Suggestions?

Try that site I just linked. There shouldn't be any difference between the 14 and 15's.

Item 2 in the exploded view... Part #68111470AA. They say it replaces Part #68078318AA and 68078318AB.
