Caliper covers?

Has anybody bought after market caliper covers for like $130 in yellow? We have them in red, so I'm just wondering what they would look like in yellow?

Re: Caliper covers?

those look very nice! Sorry to go off topic but do you mind me asking where you bought them from? Going back on topic, on a black car I personally would only go red or black calipers. Only a fan of yellow on a yellow vehicle for the color match

Yes, I bought them back in August of 2011 for $150 on http://www.calipercovers.com/_e/dept...d_Cherokee.htm ,,,,,,,,,,,,, But now they are $200 for 4, which is still a good deal, these are very effective in keeping break dust of your wheels! I highly recommend them! You can get them custom emblemed as mine says 5.7 Hemi,,, these are very cool, I thought yellow would look good because of how on the Porsche Cayenne Turbo they are yellow and look pretty awesome! I think the yellow is pretty awesome on a black car... :-)

Re: Caliper covers?

I am guessing you could paint the ones you have yellow if you wanted and mask off the engraving.

Re: Caliper covers?

I can't see why one would want to cover the calipers. The idea is to get the heat out, not keep it in.

Re: Caliper covers?

Why not get some "Brembo" covers?

4 Brembo Brake Caliper Cover Honda Toyota Nissan R | eBay

Then you'd get some imaginary extra stopping power too. Plus, then you're not going to spend $200 on $15 worth of plastic.
