Can do? Overland Spoiler/Bumper fitted to a Summit

Would like to get the added clearance of the removeable spoiler and the recovery points. Am thinking of fitting a winch using the Rocky Road kit and figure since I have to mod the bumper, why not find a Overland or Limited bumper and refit that on my Summit. Any issues with this?

There are other recent threads on this floating atound. Since you can't just change the airdam because it won't fit you have to change the whole bumper and the you run into issues with the flares or something like that. Check some of the other threads on this I think people determined it was cost prohibitive. Tow hooks are not that hard to add though, I have done it and others on here. Mounting points are all there just cutting two plastic holes.

Overland and Summit have different fender flares so the bumpers would not match up. To do the swap correctly you would need to change out front and rear bumpers, fender flares at all four corners, and lower side sills under the doors. Not to mention get them all painted.
Any extra clearance the Overland bumpers allow is minimal at best and IMO definitely not worth the cost and work involved.

Making this change would be somewhat expensive...as noted, you can't just change one piece because there are other body contours different between Summit and non-Summit. You have to do a lot more. Between the extra parts and extra finishing...ching...ching...
