Can I somehow buy turn signal relay (after market for LED) to fix hyper flashing issue instead of drilling holes on the metal frame to fit load resistors?
I guess the relay is in the fuse box, but have anyone successfully done this before?
Could you share a link of those kind of tape? 3yr? wow, I noticed there are water marks behind the tail light housing, I guess rain(or car wash splash) does go in there, it's surprising that yours still holds the tape pretty well.
There is no flasher relay.
Controlled by on-board computer.
If you want LEDs, you have to go with ballast resistors.
If you buy the most expensive ballast resistors (rather than the $5 ones from Amazon) you can use the 3M automotive double stick tape to mount them as they don't get as hot.
Well explained, I checked the fuse box today and no luck, ur right there is no turn signal relay. Could you share a link of mentioned resistor? I bought the cheap ones from Amazon $7. BTW, a link of 3M tape would be perfect, thank you.
Hey do u recall what type of 3157 bulb u used? is it regular wiring or CK wiring? I put on my regular 3157 LED today and no matter how I change the polarity it just wont work, finally I had to put back the stock bulb for now. Is it CK wiring????
I didn't pay attention to needing a resistor for my 2012 turn signals. Hyper flash about drove me crazy in less than 5 minutes.
I didn't really see room for mounting one of these. Shoot I'm not even sure what wire needs to be spliced. Pita
