Hi -- same thing with ours. You will see that they have a space in the housing so that a screw can hold them into place.

I didn't pay attention to needing a resistor for my 2012 turn signals. Hyper flash about drove me crazy in less than 5 minutes.
I didn't really see room for mounting one of these. Shoot I'm not even sure what wire needs to be spliced. Pita
