Carbon Fibre SRT8 dash trim inserts

Hi all. new to the site and wanted to know if there is an after market carbon fibre dash insert (SRT8 style) to replace the Burl wood trim finish? If not was thinkging of getting the real matt finish 3M carbon fibre (no clear coat due to the ageing/yellowing issue) sheets and installing these over the timber and silver inserts. Suggestions or advice would be great. Thankls in advance.

Yeah they used the clear coat carbon fibre which will yellow out over time. I would prefer a like for like replacement so that I can sell or replace the OR inserts when it comes time to upgrade to the new model.

Look at this on eBay:

I would've preferred to have full replacement panels but they all seemed pretty expensive at the time. I ended up doing the 3M CF Di-Noc film instead.

Re: Carbon Fibre SRT8 dash trim inserts

Just wrap the pieces in 3M 1080 vinyl.

3M

Click on finishes on upper right. I am debating between carbon fiber black or the brushed black. I have samples of many of these and will post pics when I can.

Great thing about this is if you dont like it you just remove it. It wont damage your original trim.

Re: Carbon Fibre SRT8 dash trim inserts

Thank brjp1 and ClarkeyWKCRD. It seems like the most logical way to go. I like the pre cut versions better as it saves me time and I'm relativley time poor anyway.
