I wonder if that will fit inside the Husky Liner. I really need a lip to keep snow from melting and going everywhere.

Doubtful. The MOPAR cargo mat holds a lot of water as the depth is significant. Believe me ... I've hauled a lot of soaked bags of mulch over the past 5+ years, sometimes as many as 20 at one time.

The Mopar cargo mat is certainly nice and heavy compared to the flimsy Weathertech mat. And yes, it is kind of difficult to clean, but its worth the trouble.

Re: Cargo Liner?

I have a canvasback liner with a Mopar mat. The mat keeps liquids off the liner which can migrate to the carpet sides...did not order the side pieces...but will. The light frost show ANY dirt realy well and really fast.

Whereas the WeatherTech and Husky liners have lips, the Jeep mat has DEEP grooves all over the place that catch and hold liquid. I'm betting you could spill more liquid on the Jeep mat without it hitting the carpet than you could with the others.

Re: Cargo Liner?

I looked at liners like Weathertech and such that have lips and decided it wasn't good for my needs. The problem is, when you need to fild the seats down to load something large and heavy, the lip interferes. The only option is to remove it, and if you forget before heading out to the furniture store....

A flat mat with catch treads is much more practical as a leave-in device.

Re: Cargo Liner?

Thanks for all the info everyone. I have hit that issue with the lip sticking up when the seats are down. The lip is flexible enough to fold down, but annoying none the less.

Looks like I'll be investing in the mopar/jeep liner for the trunk, leaving the husky liners everywhere else.

Re: Cargo Liner?

This is my Weather Tech Cargo Liner in my 2015 Grand Cherokee. I also have the 2 piece front, and 1 piece rear floor "mats", along with the Weather Tech Sun Shade. I'm happy with all of their products. Albeit they're expensive.

I've got the same setup as you. The front and rear mats have been a great choice for my needs and the cargo is perfect as well. The lip is not so rigid that I can't drop the rear seats to put something in that goes into the rear seating area from the cargo area and it will come back up and take form. I wanted something with a lip as I am often transporting wet fishing gear. And when my buddy spills coffee with cream on it. I made that mistake with my 2001 KJ. Nothing back there but your standard carpet. I had it cleaned out after I got back from the excursion but it developed a rank stench during the week we were away. Memories.

Have you tried any of the Weathertech cleaning products? I've used a lot of different things over the years to clean mats, but with these, I've found nothing that compares to restoring the as new finish as their cleaning products. Yes, they are pricy by comparison but it doesn't take much to clean/treat them and make them look damn near new again.

Re: Cargo Liner?

Here are some pics showing the front and rear mats. All fit extremely well.

Re: Cargo Liner?

You will notice that the WeatherTech front liners do not cover up to and over the door sills. Also the carpet hook holes are open. Although the Husky X-Act Contours are rubber mats not plastic liners they cover both of these shortcomings.
