Cargo Liner?

I have seen numerous posts on weathertech cargo liner and in my recent Amazon searches, new ones have showed up for a little cheaper and I am wondering if anyone has them? One is Husky Liner and the other is Rugged Ridge?

Weathertech gets great reviews, but I am wondering if these other ones do any justice for their price point. Purpose for the liner is for my dog (hair), protecting the factory carpet because it is already scratched up a little. We also have a kid on the way in about a month and would like a hassle free option for a stroller even if its got some dirt or mud on it.

Here are the other brands I saw other than the Weather Tech:

Rugged Ridge

Also, if you guys have any other suggestions that would be great. Thanks!

I'm using Weathertech and for my needs it fits the bill but I don't have a dog or need to store a stroller. I'd think any mat would fit the bill for the stroller need, but if I had a pooch I'd be giving serious consideration to the Canvasback. That looks like an ideal setup for dog owners. A little more expensive perhaps but the reviews seem great.

I don't have firsthand experience with the Mopar cargo mat in my WK2 but used one previously with my KJ and was very pleased.

I have the Husky Liner all around in my 2012. Love them and they seem to hold up without issue. The trunk liner is slippery, and I hate having crap back there if I dont have it held down.

Edit: Also it manages to interfere with opening the in-floor compartment all the way, which is a mild pain since I store a lot of crap in there.

I have the CanvasBack (awesome) in addition to the Jeep cargo mat. I like that with the Jeep mat, nothing slides around and it still does a decent job of containing liquids since it has so many grooves. I had WeatherTechs in my prior vehicles and while they worked to contain spills with their high lips, they were also too slick and cargo could move around. Then again, they're MUCH easier to clean than the Jeep mat.

I have a canvasback liner with a Mopar mat. The mat keeps liquids off the liner which can migrate to the carpet sides...did not order the side pieces...but will. The light frost show ANY dirt realy well and really fast.

I looked at liners like Weathertech and such that have lips and decided it wasn't good for my needs. The problem is, when you need to fild the seats down to load something large and heavy, the lip interferes. The only option is to remove it, and if you forget before heading out to the furniture store....

A flat mat with catch treads is much more practical as a leave-in device.

Thanks for all the info everyone. I have hit that issue with the lip sticking up when the seats are down. The lip is flexible enough to fold down, but annoying none the less.

Looks like I'll be investing in the mopar/jeep liner for the trunk, leaving the husky liners everywhere else.

I've got the same setup as you. The front and rear mats have been a great choice for my needs and the cargo is perfect as well. The lip is not so rigid that I can't drop the rear seats to put something in that goes into the rear seating area from the cargo area and it will come back up and take form. I wanted something with a lip as I am often transporting wet fishing gear. And when my buddy spills coffee with cream on it. I made that mistake with my 2001 KJ. Nothing back there but your standard carpet. I had it cleaned out after I got back from the excursion but it developed a rank stench during the week we were away. Memories.

Have you tried any of the Weathertech cleaning products? I've used a lot of different things over the years to clean mats, but with these, I've found nothing that compares to restoring the as new finish as their cleaning products. Yes, they are pricy by comparison but it doesn't take much to clean/treat them and make them look damn near new again.

I picked up one of these as well, currently it is just sitting under my Husky Liner. I figure in the summer I'll just leave the Mopar liner in, and have the Husky on top in the winter.

We throw a ton of wet ski/snowboard boots back there in the winter.

Someone that just got a 2016 Summit said it came with a removable cargo mat. I would think that would be available from Mopar or a Jeeps part dealer either now or eventually. I don't know if it's just the Mopar cargo mat that's been out for sometime or something new and exclusive to the Summit.

I recently chose to get the Jeep/Mopar rubber cargo mat and it's fine for my needs. Price was right, too. I have zero desire for things like the Weathertec elsewhere in the vehicle. Don't need them and don't want the "hard" surfaces, either. But that's just me and my own personal needs.

I went with the Husky in from and rear and MOPAR in cargo area over my Canvasback.

DallasGC does your Canvasback have the side panels also? I'm curious how the 'slit' would look, and also if there is another 'slit' for the pocket on the sub side (I do not have a sub). I've noticed even vacuuming dog hair off of he carpet panels is pulling the fibers up (pilling?) the carpet. I need a solution like this!
