Cargo Mats

I've been trying to get a cargo mat for my new Jeep Grand Cherokee but there's not much available yet. I figured the Mopar accessory would be the way to go - Jeep logo and all that. The one I had for my old Jeep (2002) fit very well and held up nicely over the years. I sent a customer assistance request to Mopar last week and just got this in response:

"Thank you for your inquiry. A search of our website (www.mopar.com) shows that we will offer a Cargo Liner, part number (82212085). Unfortunately, this part is not currently available to order and there is not an estimated availability date. We suggest that you check with your local dealer and on our website periodically for availability."

So that's apparently the status of the Mopar item.

Re: Cargo Mats

I got the husky weatherbeater set. They are expensive, but i guess this is just cost of ownership. As soon as i get them, i will post pics.

Re: Cargo Mats

Jeep does not have them available for the WK2, neither does Weather Tech. I've looked at the Husky Weatherbeater, but I'll wait until you send us pics.

Re: Cargo Mats

I just went to a distributer of both WeatherTech and HuskyLiners on the weekend. None are available for the WK2 as yet.
He tells me though, that the Weathertechs hold up better over time than HuskyLiners. Apparently the edges of the Husky tend to curl in over time. I have WeatherTechs in all my vehicles now but was interested in trying the HuskyLiners.

Re: Cargo Mats

Yes, my WeatherTech cargo mat has stayed nice over many years and many cleanings, yet my friend's Husky liner has curled over wavy sides.

WeatherTech front and rear floor liners, and cargo liner will be available in less than a month
