Adding a stiffening plate might help but can't get to the back side to reinforce.
Any advice on how or where to mount my antenna?
I used the same bracket, had it on for a year, no problems, the plastic has not moved. Need to tidy up earth, and put inside, to make it neater.
I used 4 small Nuts and bolts, and large washers on the inside for strength. You can run the cable down through the chassis and up through a grommet under spare tire, so no holes drilled in the steel body.
