Changed honeycomb grill

Just installed new black honeycomb grill on my 14 GC altitude...last piece of silver chrome is now gone.

Re: Changed honeycomb grill

How hard was the honeycomb replacement? Did you have to remove the front bumper? I'm about to do this and would appreciate any tips

Re: Changed honeycomb grill

I just recently did mine with the bumper off the car and it was still a PITA... The clips are super tight and feel like they will break just before they unclip.

Looks great against the white body and blacked out grille!

yes u have to remove it and it's a little tricky to take the old inserts off...each insert has 6 hooks that u wedge out with a small flathead screwdriver...just becareful not to crack those hooks

Re: Changed honeycomb grill

I did it the grills today didn't even have to take the bumper off the car just gotta be crafty and go in from the top. Of course you'll have a few scratches this way but my hands were already torn up from the mopar brake pedal install lol
