Chinese Stainless sill trim

I was looking on Ebay to see what there was for the jeep grand cherokee.

I found these stainless steel door sill entry plates. They are made of some thick stainless plate.

They ship from china the seller offered me a discount on a future purchase if I sent him some pitures of them installed, he already added the photos to his listing.

I am not crazy about the "Z" stamping so I put the front pair in out
2011 and Kept the rear set in 2012

If you look close at this photo you will see that I also found someone that makes the rear door sill that is twice as long as the OEM one. (it alway bothered that the rear sill time was so short and dinky looking)

Re: Chinese Stainless sill trim

Kind of looks like it was made in China in my opinion. Font looks a little off and not stamped as crisp.

Re: Chinese Stainless sill trim

True, but i like the simplicity of the back sills more than the front.
And of course it protects a bigger area. i noticed that all the scuff and shoe marks are normally on the part the chinese still protects and not on the still the OEM one protects in my car.

Re: Chinese Stainless sill trim

Those look similar to these made in China sill guards;

Door Sill Guards - New Style Rear Doors?

And both appear to have longer rear sill coverage than the genuine Mopar ones!

Honestly, I don't like the look of either. IMO the quality is lacking. But as always; if you like it thats all that really matters.

I noticed your floor mats are as dirty as mine. That color is impossible to keep looking clean.
