Chrome lovers

What is your opinion on putting chrome pieces on the window pillars? Do you think it will box in the windows to much. There is chrome on 3 sides of them. Does anyone have pics?

Re: Chrome lovers

That's for even thinking about putting more chrome on your car.

Re: Chrome lovers

Understood..I see you have a little. I don't think the color of my Overland would look good blacked out.

I nominate "Man Of Steel" as the official fashion police. He doesn't pull any punches.

Okay now to "Mr. String" : I personally like the glossy black as it blends well with tinted windows to form what would look like one huge panel of glass.

Now the chrome pieces, are a matter of personal taste there are folks out there feel that they are just what they needed to finish off their ride. And others that would not go near them even if you paid them to put them on.

Happy modding and do what make you feel happy, but remember this: If you ask a bunch of forum members what they think or how do they feel about something, be prepared for the answer, cuz they will surely tell you how they feel.

Totally agree with you. I've been around forums for a long time. I know what to expect for answers. Your's is the best. I was thinking the same thing about how it looks... like one big window. I like the horizontal lines of the Overland and putting them on would take away that...
Thanks

Re: Chrome lovers

I'm supposed to have the chrome parts on my limited wrapped in gloss black the second week of August. Now you have considering having the whole thing wrapped in chrome vinyl.

Re: Chrome lovers

My favorite color is chrome! But, I must say, don't like the window pillars in chrome, I like the large pane of glass look, too.
