Chrome rear brow

I'm going to paint my chrome rear brow. Should I leave the Jeep letters chrome or paint them too? Any pics of both ways?

You know what, I totally agree with you. Just needed someone elses opinion... Been reading a lot of post about painting it, but those are the guys that strip all the chrome off...

It depends on the exterior color of your jeep.. IMO white and sliver look good with the chrome brow but the darker colors benefit from being painted body color

Paint it red, remove the side chrome, add the GC chrome scripts and get red mirror covers...IMHO..caveat being price of paint i.e if painting the rear brow is inline with replacing the chrome door handles I'd opt for red door handles

Don't get me wrong I like hits of chrome on the darker GC's but like others I think jeep goes OCD on it. Believe it or not Im actually adding chrome to my black 14 Laredo

check out tylerjohnburke's ride..the hits of chrome really set it off

2014 Black JGC Overland with Black SRT Spider Monkey replica Wheels

That red really pops! Nice ride!

Re: Chrome rear brow

Can you get color matching mirror covers or do you have to have them painted?

Re: Chrome rear brow

Before, hated all that Chrome:

After I painted the muffler black with muffler spray, Black Plasti Dip & Glossifier for the bumper chrome and the taillights chrome.

Then did the mirror covers white with Plasti Dip and Glossifier:

and then the chrome on the roof rack:

I had some fun doing it, the weather was great, overall I like the looks much better, less attention grabbing, not a chrome guy myself...
